Default Forester rear suspension??

MY 98 S.

Do UK Foresters all have self levelling suspension??If so,how is it done?

Cut a long story short, just fittted 2 new shocks to rear of Forester non turbo.Just shocks,no springs. The rear of the car is now noticably lower than the front.
If this car had self levelling, would there be somekind of seperate chamber on the shock?Somekind of switch inside?

Any idea's guys???

are you sure they're forester struts ? Impreza rears will physically fit but produce these symptoms

AFAIK a non-turbo shouldn't have SLS

You DID have SLS. Now you don't. You need non turbo rear springs to hoick your **** off the ground.

Do you mean GLS as that was the only NA trim level, or S-turbo...

SLS shock on SF5 are bright green, but are not normally on GLS models.

Sounds like you have an Impreza shock with the lower spring seat but you need to be sure if you had SLS or not first!
