Default Classic springs

Afternoon all, i recently bought some second hand lowering springs for my classic, the obvious part to fitting them is that there s two pairs, one pair for fronts and one pair for backs...

trouble is i dont know which pair is fronts and which pair is backs..????

can anyone advise as the only obvious difference is that one pair of springs is slightly higher than the other pair...

I would have said short fat one's at the back.

Think about it, there's more weight at the front so it would need a spring that will compress more.
