Default Suspension driving me mad

Hi,

Sorry about the length of story!!!

Had all my geomoetry set up recentley and the tramlining has been more pronounced ever since. Since then i have fitted a set of brembos which i think (not 100% sure) has increased the wheel spacing on the front slightly. Now, everytime i hit a bump or groove in the road it tugs on the steering causing me to wave around the road. Cant find anything obvious wrong with any bushes and there's no apparent play in the rack. The other thing which is also annoying but i can live with for now is that the car feels very positive and tight turning one way, and very light steering and no feedback.

Anyone got any ideas please?

Cheers

Nicky

The very light steering sounds like the wheels arent making full contact with the road. You've not clipped a kerb or knocked your tracking out have you ?

I'd be questioning the geometry setup. Have you got a certificate or some documentation with the geometry settings they used on. Maybe post them up and compare with others with similar car ?

Nicky,

post the settings from your geometry set-up, my guess is it's this that's causing the symptons you're experiencing.

My o3 sti - tramlined badly since i bought the car , Powerstation fitted Whiteline mods + eibachs - also gave full alignment.

had to ft a rear camber bolt to get the settings right

Now the Car is so different - absolutely no tramlining - especially on Inner lane on a worn motorway

thanks guys, i had a feeling it might be that, i'll get it booked in somewhere different this time. it was done on the side so have no comeback unfortunately. I have had the tracking set last weekend but has made no noticable difference. However when the guy did the tracking he noticed that one of the back wheels had more camber than the other side...
