Default Bugeye Suspension

my wifes bugeye (standard apart from 18s and exhaust) feels so uncertain going round bends. feels twitchy and you seem to get hardly any feel from the front tyres... would upgrading the suspension and doing the geometry improve this??

Maybe just the allignment may help for sure. Dont start messing with suspension unless you have the modding bug. As on your standard car there is no need to spend the money really.
Just get the geometry checked out by a good place and you should notice a big difference.
Although mine is an 03 WRX, they do feel a little wallowy around bends as standard cars though.

get a set of springs and a 22mm rear roll bar then a geo setup

might be a bad idea though - you don't want her to be keeping up with you
