Yeah. Thought it look a bit odd. The std ones that came off were more like a rose joint type fit. Anyone want a set of drop links...???

The std ones were ball joint type with a very thin rod connecting them. I think rose jointed one's are what i need for my wishbones. I'll phone tweeks on monday and find out.....And yes, they do look very wrong dont they..

Also not convinced thats my steering rack on the car. 2.7 turns lock to lock but should be a quick rack which i think is nearer 2.2/2.3 if i remember rightly...

Whiteline do a rosejoint link kit.
I thought your car should have a quickrack, but it could easily have been an option (?)

The part number that you have looks like KLC32. These come with some spacers to get the distances correct. In your picture these are missing.

Cheers

I ended up with a little packet with 2 spacers and 2 v.big nuts after fitting all the new sus. parts. Couldnt figure out what they were for though. The only nuts (lock) on the sus. that i could find that are similar are the one's for the end of the front wishbones that go on after the castor blocks (alk). Different thread though and there's no way they would be used with the links as the bolts are smaller. Also noticed that the 2 bolts through the links are two different sizes. One is the same size as the hole for link-stabalizer but the other is too small for link-wishbone. Front link part No. is KLC 30, not 32. Quite convinced they are for the std wishbones and the rose jointed links should be used to replace ball joint links.....

My rack should be/was a quickrack but i've a sneaking suspsion its been changed without my knowledge......just need someone to clarify the turns lock-lock....

22B = 2.6 turns
Jap WRX/Sti 1992 = 2.8

Hi,

KLC30 is for the non STi models. KLC32 will fit the STi. Allthough the KLC38 and KLC39 are the rosejointed adjustable ones at almost the same price and a better solution for the STi.

Cheers
