I believe they use inverted shocks 'like' the sti model, possibly alloy 'wishbones' too.

Direct from the 2005 WRX catalogue...

"...while the WRX now has an aluminium lateral link..."

"...while inverted struts front and rear on the WRX give 3 times more strength against flexing in corners..."

Thanks all

I called my local dealer asking about some Prodrive lowering spings. They got all flustered about whether they would fit the MY05 because the suspension set up is different. They STILL have not phoned me back!!!!

Anyone got a MY05 with the prodrive springs????
Ant probs with compatability???

Cheers

I have them on my 05 wrx; I'd suggest you get another dealer...

By the way, an excellent upgrade I reckon - comine with prodrive geometry settings.

Then fit adjustable rear anti-rollbar and droplinks...

That is exactly the set up I am heading for, it depends on the availability of funds as to how quickly!!!!

If you don't mind me asking.....

How much did you pay for the springs and fitting?

(I might try and fit them myself to save a few quid!! The dealer quoted about a hours labour per corner!!!! £70ish per hour and about £200 for the springs.)

Just fitted a Whiteline Swaybar to a mates car (Astra GSI 24mm adj) so the Scooby should be easy.

Cheers

Without wanting to sound like a tw@t, I got a very good deal from a friend which promised I wouldn't speak about (especially on scoobynet).

Sorry!
