Hello all,

Is it worth uprating the springs on the 05 STi to prodrive or eibach components? I am thinking of getting the geometry done to a fast road spec at somewhere like TSL or Powerstation and would probably get springs fitted at the same time.

Has anybody changed the springs on the 05 STi and if so has it improved the handling/diminished ride quality?

My 03sti is dam good. The 05 set-up must be better. Are you changing it for the sake of it?
If so leave it alone, by some accounts the 05 suspension set-up is very good as standard.

Go to Powerstation and have the ASTs fitted. There is such an improvement!

will probably leave suspension alone for now. probably just wanting to change for change's sake. have read good things about standard suspension. will get the geometry sorted though.

 

HI GUYS I HAVE A 2005 STI WOULD LIKE TO UPGRADE THE SPRINGS .
PRODRIVE SPRINGS ONLY LOWER IT BY 20MM NOT ENOUGHT.
PLEASE ADVICE SPRINGS WERE I CAN LOWER IT BY 30 MM
I HAVE 19 inch wheels on and has lifted the wheels up

bye the way phoned subaru they said if you buy any aftermarket springs it will not cover the warranty this is a problem guys what should i do
