Default Coilovers

Hi there.

I had my new coilovers delivered today and want to fit them at some point and but am slightly confused as to how they go together. I've got the standard top mounts at the moment but am getting Noltec ones very shortly.

THe coilovers came as the strur and spring, a cone thing (getting technical) which goes on top of the spring I think (had a bearing inside) and two nuts. Can anybody tell me how these should go together or has any pics. I would be very, very grateful. Many thanks.

Ben

...that cone thing is on top.
Look at the picture. For front suspension you need another small cone thing from OE setup, if you want use OE top mounts. This is something like cone washer and do as reduction between coilover top and top mount bearing seal.
If you have coils + top like Tein or Cusco forget it, you dont need it.
Iam going change OE tops for Noltec on Monday if you want I can make photos.

Cheers for the reply Erik. I've just ordered some Noltecs and they should be arriving on Tuesday so if you could send some pics to bentatman12@aol.com that would be fantastic.

I'm still a little confused as to the set up. Being honest I've already put them on the car now and they are making a really band banging noise so I think I might just get someone to sort them out. I'll try and post some pics of the units tomorrow when they are off the car. Cheers again.
