Default What suspension for my MY02 STI

Well, the front struts have finally given up on my MY02 STI.

Had both the rears replaced under warranty last year, but now she is out of the warranty period.

What recommendations do you have ?

I don't need adjustable fandango suspension, nor do I need it slam dunked to the ground.... nor do I want to spend £1000 on an AST/Tein setup.

Any thoughts please...

Buy some 2nd hand fronts on here, I'm sure you'll find some.

Perhaps Mark could have that in English!!

I was going to say AST from the title but have now read your post and would also suggest Spec C or standard Sti dampers for your year car, they are stacking up at Powerstation so I'm sure Rich or Dirk would sell you a set.
I think the Spec C ones were £250

Well I've bitten the bullet and am having a full AST setup fitted tomorrow (Tuesday) at Powerstation

Had a long chat with Rich about it and decided this was the best way forward.

I've got a My02 STi and have thought about fitting Eibachs. I have also had my rear suspension "fixed" under warranty. The N/Side is finally OK but next week it should be going in for the D/Side.

I know that they fit a new top mount off a MY03 as part of the fix, is this likely to cause any problems, ie would you have to fit STi7 springs to front and STi8's to rear or are they the same?

If they've changed the rear top mounts to MY03 items, you can fit MY03 springs all round, the front top mounts are the same.
