Default Camber kit

Camber kits are only £50 but are they worthwhile ?.

Use my Scooby for hillclimbing and have adjustable dampers, uprated springs, Whiteline anti-lift kit, adjustable ARB's and drop links and slicks but wonder if a camber kit is worthwhile.

Le Mans:

Save up for some MRT race topmounts.

You get huge caster and camber adjustment. I'm taking my Whiteline ALK off this Xmas as they distort the wishbone bushes and bind the suspension.

You WILL loose the understeer with the top mounts! I know......

Yes but aren't they solids? What aboun NVH?
I have found in the past some teflon made adjustable top mounts but as with all aftermarket top mounts they alter the height of the car or am I wrong 911?

I'd go with something that also allows caster adjustment - if you are going a top plate

The MRT 'sliding' top mounts allow independant caster/camber adjustment about 4 or 5 degreed off Subaru top mount positions.

The NVH factor may be there, but Le Mans is a hill climber like me, so performance rules!
I have AVO coil-overs so height change no problem.
They do a road type I think, but not too sure.

I think the way forward is to have some caster increasing wishbones made. Big bucks though, but it might be possible to arrange a group buy?

I've seen such things in Jap car mags, so exist somewhere over there.

The MRT tops will give you upto 8 degrees pos caster (about 2 x stock)

911.

Le Mans, just finished my last hill climb today, nearly first in class, but only 0.22 secs behind the 460 bhp EVO 5.....
