Question KYB AGX Adjustable struts on a Classic

I've just obtained a set of the adjustable KYB AGX struts, I'm now looking for the other components to go with them. I've got Eibach springs (25mm Drop), so all I need is the top mounts and the dustcover/bumpstop.

I have a MY00 Sport, with MY00 Turbo brake conversion (Front 4 pots, rear single pot, Mintex 1144 pads, Rear anti roll bar) plus Whiteline front and rear drop links & Prodrive ST2 wheels on Pirelli P-Zero Tyres

KYB can supply both items but there have been some bad stories about their top mounts, though only good stories about the struts.

Suggestions please

Are the stories true?
KYB are a mega Company and would only market good parts due to warranty bills.
you sound as though you are looking to get the chassis of your Sport good and tight (excellent move) so why not go for some Sti parts.
Try all the usual Specialists, especially those who do Coil-overs as they may have some good second hand parts. Cheap and effective with STi engineering?

I've had a chat with Dave from Jap innovations about this and considering the cost of the STI stuff being so high I'm opting to go with the mounts and bumpstop that I've got. I'm not sure that the STI ones would make a significant difference.

Yep that is the idea, my impreza, though only a sport now has handling that I think some of the Turbo drives would find exceptional. Hopefully the addition of improved struts together with a lower front strut brace and an anti lift kit will improve it further. (I already have front and rear upper strut braces)
