Chaps,
I'm going to PS on Sat for Eibachs and Anti-Lift. This will involve the Geometry being reset so the question is, do I go for Fast Road (again) or Track?
Anybody know the differences and is there anybody out there who has tried both???
Ta,
Matt

Matt,
Seriously, best talk to Rich or Dirk about this once at Powerstation (or beforehand). They will be able to best advise you on the differences.
Me ? I know nothing But I might see you there as I have to drop in.
Cheers

As I. W. says talk to the boys.
Dirk did explain the difference to me but I don't remember exactly what the change is cos I had the fast road settings done.
Which still keeps surprising me in how good the mod is.

I've checked this with the guys at PS. Bumpsteer is a mod that is done once and that is it, there is no choice, or different settings.
They then told me that the 4 wheel alignment set up we do run more aggressive camber settings for track use, than we do for road use.
so hope that clears it up.

Matt,
I have the prodrive suspension kit and i am fitting on tuesday: thicker arb s, stiffer links, alk from whiteline australia.
The settings that these guys recommend are for "touring":
front camber -1 deg, front toe 0 mm/side
rear camber -0.75 deg, toe 1mm out per side
for "sport" :
front camber -1.50 deg, front toe 0 mm/side
rear camber -1.00-1.25 deg, 1-2 mm out/side
for "race"
front camber -2.0 to -3.0 deg, front toe 0 mm/side
rear camber -1.5 to -2.5 deg, 0-2 mm out/side
The news here is that toe is zero on front wheels alltimes. And more track oriented more neg camber and more rear toe out. What is an issue i think is straight line cruising stability with more aggressive settings, plus ease of control once the car gets cheeky!
Another point is that whiteline gives camber for the rears and they are not adjustable on std suspension. The reason is that they sell some rather clever eccentric bolts that enables rear camber to be set.
Oh my God the more the settings the more things to get wrong!
Methings im gonna spend a fortune on alignment tuning
