Thumbs up

I'll let you have more information when I've had more time to evaluate the kit, but it should be good!

It is adjustable, comes as dampers only, (use your own springs or a range of stiffer/softer springs to suit your requirements), and has combined bump/rebound damper adjustment.

RRP is likely to be circa £2.2K.

Are these the non-height-adjustable jobbies?
If so I think I've seen the stuff when we had a club meeting at Ohlins factory in Stockholm.

IIRC even the adjustable damper was a bit "budget" by normal Ohlins standards - with adjustable bump only...exactly like the much cheaper Leda kit.

..and to add insult to injury...the Scooby-Ohlins aren't made by Ohlins themselves, but by a Japanese subcontractor (or whatever you call it ).

IMHO they're way overpriced.

What's up Jerry, not shiny enough for ya?
They aren't height adjustable (unless you use lowering springs).

Bump and rebound adjustable (not independantly) The company that makes them is owned by Ohlins and the Japanese version of these kits has a very good reputation.

Overpriced..... depends how well they work I suppose, time will tell?

Hiya mate!

Yup, they're shiny, and of Swedish origin (this indicates superiour-ness of course ), but it's that fugly logo I just can't find a way to like.
Sorry mate, bump and rebound adjustable just like the Leda's (tired 2day).

And yes, I think they're way overpriced, they're not height adjustable, and you'll get no springs.

But hey...that's my opinion (I've been in a cranky mood this whole month methinks).

I must agree with the secret agent here.

As much as I'd love to have Öhlins dampers on my car I'd never go for that cheapo 1-adjustment-only job. And not at that price. the real thing with height adjustment and all the other adjustments aren't that much more expensive so I think I'll save up for them: If I wanted the 1 way ajustability I'd bought Leda.

Talking

Arbu Tuckshop long time no speak

It is Tein that make these.

Tein Type HA would be a better bet I think, but we will have to see what Mikes results are.
