Question

I've upgraded to the STi version VI Type RA suspension and am wondering what is the best suitable swaybar sizes to go with.

I currently have 19mm front and 20mm rear. I plan to stick with this suspension and not go with coilovers so I want the most out of it I can get.

I hope to get the STi Group N suspension bushings installed and adding a rear strut tower bar (already have a front one) I have Whiteline solid endlinks both front and rear as well.

Would a 20 front 21 rear be good? Or should I go 22 front and 22 rear? I like the balance of the rear being larger than the front, but don't want to go to drastic. I can rotate the car easily so don't need a 20 front 22 rear set-up or anything (I could rotate the car with the measly stock 13mm rear bar at first).

Please help decide what sway bars to get and what size. This is a daily driver that sees quite a bit of auto-x and some rally-x time.

Cheers,

Jon

I've no experience of uprating ARB's except driving other peoples cars that have had this done and the results (in the dry at least) were very possitive.

I do know however that Training WRX advises that you match front and back.

Thumbs up

I've got 22mm rear adjustable ARB, 22mm front ARB & Anti-Lift Kit. and mine handles Great.

It was great prior to changing to DMS Gold coilovers, they've just took it to another level.

Simon De Banke is probably the best person to comment impartially in this area though?

You won't need to change the front drop links on the STi, only the rears.

Mike.
