Eibach springs and standard shocks?
Has anyone ran these springs with standard UK shocks? I was wondering if it was a reasonable 'budget' setup, as my 95 WRX has Jap top adjustable KYB stuff on it, and it's just toooooo stiff for our pitted roads. The thing is, I don't want to spend £1k on suspension (leda etc.) as I'm doing other mods at the moment (spoilers, brakes etc)
I just want a more compliant ride, and to retain a lowish ride height.
Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated!

OE shocks from my99/00 are OK - I was very happy with the improvement. Before this they're not supposed to be so good (but I think Stef ran his 98 like this with good results?).
The Eibachs lower the car about 25mm.
But if you've got adjustable shocks at the moment the above is irrelevant really
You should maybe investigate whether it's the shocks or springs causing your problems now?

I did before Leda & it was fine.
Why don't you consider changing the springs on the KYB. Softer springs less bash/crash & adjust damper setting to suit. Best of both then.

Thanks for the replies! Would it be the springs that are responsible for the solid ride as opposed to the shocks, then? I was unsure whether it was one, or the other or both?! ...if that makes sense?

Think I'll try some new springs with my dampers! Cheers!
