ALK brake drive
#2
I have an ALK fitted to my car.I can't say I noticed an increase in dive or for that matter much of a reduction in lift.
The amount of lift/dive is primarily down to spring rate/damper settings rather than geometry settings. The ALK moves one of the suspension mounting points by 1/2 an inch which is not going to have that much of an effect.

I've got the ALK itted to my UK car. There was a very noticable reduction in lift when fitted - it did all that MRT claim.
Not noticed the brake dive increase. It's there in theory I suppose but I very rarely have to use an emergency stop (not done track days in the car either) so normal braking is 'no change'.

I have one fitted to my 94 WRX and the changes have all been positive.
When I first got the car, the lift on acceleration was ridiculous - this has proved to be an effective cure.
Thanks

Thanks for the replys guys.
I've just had the ALK fitted and swear there is more dive under braking....
Just out of interest...does the insurance company need to be notified of this mod
