does anyone know what benefits will you get from increasing the width if the wheel's track at the back.

when I went to fit the ALK it was suggested to me that fitting one of these adjustable control arms will be beneficial as i can increase the track of the car.

thanks
sam

Sam,

Been speaking to the boys at Falkland by any chance?

I saw the set-up on the scooby they're preping for Grp-N too... looks good. IMHO most 'performance' cars are let down by their rear end, so I guess what Falkland are doing (similar to MRT???) could be a real plus for handling.

Like Sam, I'm interested to hear anyone's comments/experience too.

- ColinU.

Wink

that obvious !!
yeah the setup looks really good. they are getting the ecu mapped buy ultronics (or something like that)the guy doing the mapping was involved in the BTCC till last year and have just finished a group N EVO6. i have phoned him but there is nothing that he could do for MY99 . they think that they will get 350pounds of torque from that sti!!. there is a whole article about him on the CCC last month i think?.

however there does not seem to be many people that know about this on this BBS. i would have thought atleast ben would post something at the end of the day it is a product that they are selling?

Adjusting the rear track of the car will affect the cars grip.

Obviously it depends upon how your car currently handles as to if you want wider rear track.

Wider rear track will generally increase rear grip - ALTHOUGH this could cause an understeer problem.

How much extra track are these arms giving you?
