I want to lower my car but I worry about affecting the handling. What are the possible solutions?

P.S. I intent to fit 17" alloys.
Please help me!

What's your budget? Speak to ScoobySport about LEDA suspension, it's fully adjustable inc ride height. But will set you back £1200. Be carefull just getting lowered springs as these could destroy the handling

Thanx Dave,
What about STi springs?
I think that Prodrive suggest that fitting Eibach springs lowers the car 20mm and impoves handling. Any opinion?

Though I don't have an STi I can't speak about the Prodrive recommendations, but the Ledas are top notch. Living in the states we have some of the worst roads, but with 275/225 spring rates it gives a firm ride, soft enough to soak up bumps yet firm enough on the low settings to make getting to work fun.

Seeing as how you have the option and I don't, if you go with this option, do yourself a favor and have Scoobysport or Leda fit them for you. I had a few few fitment problems with the front struts clearing the bottom mounting design, though it may just be an odd US thing.
