Cool

Hi All

I have spent about the last 4 months in and out of RGS Motorsport in Wellingborough having tiny tweaks done to my susp.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to MIRA wet handling circuit at the weekend and can confirm, the set-up is absolutely OUTSTANDING!

If you like your car to turn in nice and sharp and have a slight preference towards oversteer then this is the setup for you.

......L reg WRX by the way......

Round the MIRA circuit, the back end was almost as willing as any REAR wheel drive car I've driven. It may be an old Scooby, but she did me proud!!

With the setup you can accurately set the car up under braking or power-off going into a corner and powerslide to your hearts content through the rest of it!! It was absolutely fabulous.

MIRA was great too, Don Palmer runs the course and can be contacted on 01628 784911.

If you fancy the suspension geometry setup, RGS have my settings and can be contacted on 01933 441451. Speak to John (top bloke!!)

c-ya

I live in Northampton too, so am quite interested. Do you know what the settings were that John uses on your car, ie the toe-in and camber figures? Are they different to the Prodrive ones?
Cheers.

Steph

Can't remember the actual figures because we tweak them so many times. But I'm sure john will set it up for you if you want.

It is definately different to Prodrive settings as that is where I started from.

Remember, these settings may or may not suit your driving. I love lots of oversteer and fairly twitchy handling. If you prefer a more balanced even set up I would think John would set that up too.

There is nothing special about the tools or equipment they use to set the suspension up, it is the fact that they (john) seem to know exactly how each setting is going to affect the many factors of the cars overall handling.

I know this sounds like an advert, but I have been so impressed by RGS that I will never let anone else touch my car again.

By the way... I know I'm gonna sound stupid now but, who is BPM??

Cheers

Simon

Simon.
If you do a search you'll find lots of references to BPM. Basically, they're a new company (over here anyway) dealing with after market tuning products, one of which is the AVO suspension which I believe RGS also do.

Stef.
PS Were you charged each time you went in to change your settings, or did you just pay the once?
