Bilstein Suspension Kits
#1
Whoops...I have re-posted this in the correct area.
I am thinking about uprating the suspension on my car and seriously considering the Bilstein kit which costs less than £600.
I have seen mentioned other suspension (Leda) which is much more expensive.
I am not worried about being able to "twiddle" with the settings so I am looking for feedback from Bilstein-equipped owners....
What are the pro's and con's ?
Thanks
Gavin

Gavin, You tend to find that billy kits are quite hard. Personally I think they are the best non-adjustable dampers that you can buy. They always seem to be excellent quality and rated to suit the car they're designed for.I don't have them on my scooby YET, but i've had them on other cars and they are spot on. I found that the springs in the kit are alright but they could be better. I think i'll go for eibach springs this time (homemade and cheaper Prodrive kit)as the billy ones tend to sag quite quickly.
Hope this helps.
