Question Preserving Geometry Settings when removing suspension?

I am due to remove the suspension to clean it up and enlarge the holes that allow the water to drain from the spring cups. I know there is an excentric bolt? which is apparently the top one of the 2, but how do you ensure that the settings are right when you put it all back together?

Whats the best way to mark it up? Any pics?

BTW, all components will be the same when refitted.

When I fitted my Eibachs I just used a tipex pen and marked the bolt positions and the put a line down where the shock bolts to. The car felt alright afterwards but it was going to ABP for a four wheel alignment a week after fitting anyway It feels much better now

I think most people will advise you to get the geometry checked after removing suspension components,

Cheers cal

You can't - you'll have to get geometry redone afterwards.
