I know I could just phone the dealer, but I thought i'd get the general consensus on here first...

Would fitting a JDM STi front strut brace to my UK STi invalidate the warrenty?

Cheers

What would the best way of confirming that be? Could I speak to Subaru or Prodrive direct? Or just the dealer?

The dealer is a bit of a stickler (pain in the ***) and tries to squeeze every penny out of you that they can. They would obviously want me to spend £275 on a UK STi brace.

I just picked up a JDM STi brace on ebay for £65

Cheers

The UK strut & the JDM are one & the same AFAIK

I cannot see how they could feasibly say that the strut is reducing the life of any oem part & affecting the warranty.
