hope some one can help here

my friend has a 97 1.6 FWD scooby.he bought the SPAX RSX coilover kit and asked me 2 fit them for him.
iv done the frount no bother,so took the rears out, striped them and built up the coilovers then went 2 start 2 fit the coilovers only 2 realise that they wont fit.i can get the top bolt on (thro coilover and hub) but the bottom bolt wont go thro as theres a bushing that holds the hub in place stoping the coilover from moveing in so the holes on coilover\hub dont line up.
now spax uk said they would defo fit a 97 1.6 FWD so eather there the wrong shock or they wont the 1.6 FWD

the rear coilover looks like the 1 here www.spax.co.uk but the bottom gose bout 4 inch's past past where it bolts 2 the hub,any 1 know if thats what it should look like ?

ANY IDEAS PLEASE ?

thanks in advance
