Question

I have a set of HKS coilover suspension and am having difficulty getting them set up. I have tried 510lb progressive springs which were to hard and bouncy so I got 275lb for the front and 225lb for the rear, these are even worse and there is hardly any travel in this set up.

The HKS dampers are very stiff and cannot be fully compressed, do you think these are knackered and if so can they be refurbished??

Cheers
Dom.

The lower rated springs are linear and not progressive!! The 510lb progressive springs are a lot softer off the car, but when they're on the car they're about the same!

I have messed around with the damper settings and this makes a small difference, but the ride is still too stiff for road or even track use!!
