contemplating a front brace for my MY 99 which has eibachs and prodrive geometry set up. in my searches i have found a huge difference in prices from £50(scoobyworld) to several hundred ££'s(subaru).
my question is apart from the weight factor (which is not an issue)what's the difference?
cheers

Colin, some are solid cast items, and will therefore be more rigid than those which have to be adjusted and then tightened. And some are made of more high tech materials, such as carbon fibre, which will be lighter than aluminium items. But it's not a huge difference apparently, although i've only ever used the Whiteline adjustable aluminium alloy type, which have always seemed to do the job adequately for me.

Hi Colin,
Ive got an STI carbon fibre strut brace. Imho I think they only help improve things if you have it working in conjunction with a different (firmer) suspension set up. As in your case.
I think alot has to do with what you are prepared to pay for one
