An interest collection first.
I don't like the cost of poly bushes, so I thought I'd see if a group buy would make them cheaper.
I think whiteline do some as well as powerflex, but I've found no details on whiteline. Also there is a company called "poly bush" that I will investigate. (They list no Scoob products, but claim to cater for Japanese cars and do list the mx5...)
If I get a bit of an idea about numbers & the type of bushes people want, I can try to get a good price.
I'll be away for a couple of days, so I'll see what response there is on Thursday.

OK, I'm back in England now... A bit tired, but alive.
I take it that we all think that the retail price of Powerflex bushes is quite expensive?
Things are beginning to happen now, so I should have some details to share shortly.

Thanks for that one Andy. I'd forgotten them! I'm waiting to hear back from someone now regarding pricing. I don't know whether they will beat those prices though.
We'll see...

There is a bit of news. Not much, I admit, as I wasn't around much last week.
I have started to discuss making a new set of bushes with a comapny that makes poly bushes for Land Rovers (and have started to move into the Japanese car market). I hope that this will help keep the costs for us down for now, and draw another manufacturer into the Impreza marketplace (and thus give us a bit more choice).
With a bit of luck there will be a choice of "comfort" and "sport" bushes. I guess we will be looking at "sport"!
I should know if this is going to happen by tomorrow or Wednesday, then it's a case of my car being a guinnea pig for a couple of weeks. The things I get involved in...
If this comes off, then it's going to be a few weeks. If it doesn't then it will be quicker, as I'll negociate with Powerflex for a good price now there's a good amount of interest.
