Can anyone tell me if there is any difference (apart from price) between the Prodrive/Eibach spring up-grade and the Eibach pro-kit.

Cheers

Different spring rates, Eibach are progressives - Prodrive linears, Eibach slight cheapers.
I believe that linears are always better than progressives regarding performance but this doesn't cover all situations.
No personal experience though!

What are the differences in price - I was going for the TSL Eibachs.

The prodrive ones are about twice as expensive. Although they may only be available for new age rather than classic.

I just checked with Prodrive and the spring kit is 195 quid (inc vat)from your dealer here.

They are Eibachs specifically for the MY01/02.

Anyone tried them how do they compare against the TSL ones.

Cool

I have the Prodrive version on mine, although I can't compare agaist the Standard Eibach kit the springs are very good. Ride is firm without being to firm if that makes sense. Car sits about 20-25mm lower with improve turn and steeting response, also less dive under braking. Some of these points may be down to the powerstation set up done at the same time. To sum up, one happy customer.

Ive had both on a my02. Found the Eibach to hard so swapped on the prodrive version with is slightly softer. Dr Evil moved from the prodrive strings to Eibachs and has never looked back. 6 of 1......

I got the Eibachs for the MY02 fitted at TSL and got laser alignment done at the same time. The difference in handling was frankly awesome. Plus the car looks MUCH better without the massive gaps in the arches.

Not only is handling improved but also replacing the springs got almost entirely rid of the annoying too-eager-ABS problem on these cars - it only cuts in now when I actually need it to!

Sorry but i don't know how they stack up againsts the Prodrives though.
cheers

So, seems that:

- standard Eibach, harder, but progressive
- Prodrive Eibach, softer, but linear

What about lowering? I would like some -30, -40 mm, because now I feel like driving an SUV. And, what about spring lenght? At full extension (for example, wheel not in contact with ground), are they long enough?

I own a MY01 WRX...

Ciao
