Anyone else had these make a squeking/graunching noise on changes of steering wheel direction at low speed?

I have a MY97 UK Cat and it is getting a little annoying. The dealer claimed to have replaced them but less than a year later it's doing it again. I reckon they sprayed them with silicone spray and ripped me off. If they did replace them what is making them do this so soon?

Help please anyone with experiance of similar problems.

I had the same problem (UK MY2000) after having the bumpsteer mod done at Powerstation.Took the car back and the mechanic put new bushes in because they had warn slightly. I have not had the noise since so new bushes might be the answer.
Mike.

New rack bushes is meant to be the answer but my dealer claims to have done this and the problem returned very soon after so I think they just sprayed silicon rubber lube around them I will have to push them to do it again. Maybe if I get them to thoroughly clean of all traces of the silicon this time before fitting new bushes it won't return. Any one tell me how much it cost them for new rack bushes please?
