will a good set of coilovers improve the handling from the standard setup??

why sell them if they dont.

With coilovers you also get good adjustment levels to tweek the ride to how you want.

Not necessarily. Mess up the setup of coilovers, or choose the wrong set for your needs, and in fact they are worse. Ditto for cheap coilovers. Stick with known brands (Leda, DMS, Bilstein), then take the time to set the car up right, and off you go.

The other things to consider are fiddle factor. After having run both Tein and DMS coilovers, I am running STi V7 struts/springs, with STi lateral, trailing and swaybar links (the pink bits) on my WRX wagon. Luv it, though I might try some DMS 50s at some point, just because.
