Ok, i hope this is nothing too serious! Ive got an sti 6 Type r V-ltd, 26k miles, had service 1500miles ago. I have always had the diff whinning noise in first and second but this quite normal. Tonight, started my car warmed it up properly and drove under boost and accelerating quite sharply there was a whinning noise. Now my guess is its the turbo as it stops when i let of the throttle and the re-circ dumps air. As i drove longer and longer the noise did get quiter. Bear in mind it was very nippy tonight. Does anyone have any suggestions as what this maybe????
