What suspension is it ???
#1
Trying to work out what suspension I have on my Scoob,
its a MY99 WRX type RA 555 limited edition.
The spring beds, strut and mounts are red in colour, they look like Koni but I have never heard of them being fitted as std on a scoob.
I know the only other previous owner and he hadnt done any mods at all, so what ever is on there is from factory we think.
I am trying to work out wether to go for just a geomatary check or go the full hog and get either Leda or Bilstien full kits.
Anyone any ideas ??

Thanks Kippax, would be interesting to know as the Suspension is one of the things listed in the Jap spec as being lightened !!
I know Bilstien was used on some models but I dont know what ones and if they were full adj. coil overs etc
Still a close think at the moment between Leda and Bilstien though.

Keefa,
There's a problem with the Bilstien PSS9 coilovers in that the rear dampers are mismatched with the springs. Bilstien are aware of the problem and are trying to rectify it. The fella at Powerstation or Chris King can tell you more about this.
sorry fellas i meant bilstien dampers not eibach
c ya thurs tone

Keefa,
If the dampers are red (and it's the same as my STi5 (my99)), someone told me that Eibach (sorry, bilstien) were drafted in to supply the shocks on the imports for that year. I am having the Leda's conversion on Weds so I can have a good look at the standard shocks and let you know if they have 'Eibach' (sorry bilstien) stamped on them anywhere. The springs would be the slightly stiffer than the standard STi.
