Coilover covers
OK. I'm about to upgrade my coil overs having got 4 years and about 50,000 miles out of the previous ones before they went off.
Having kept them clean and lubed as much as I could, there is a lot of crap that gets in there. I have looked at the covers for sale, and everyone uses velcro fitment and a canvas or neoprene material.
Does anyone have experience of these, and does anyone have a good reason why zip tie securing a section of car or motorcycle inner tube would't work as well? Not that I'm a tight wad....
I've bought a set for now anyway. See how they go over this winter...
Inverted Coilovers aren't really recommended for the road so I need to keep on top of maintenance...
