How to differentiate between 5x100 and 5x114.3 struts

As above, what are the center-to-center knuckle hole distances in 5x100 and 5x114.3 shocks?

I've been told that 5x100 / 5x114.3 rear struts are interchangeable so I guess that's wrong then?

The rears use the same spacing, so they are interchangeable.

Just make sure you use sti struts wth sti springs and wrx struts with wrx springs.
