Hi,

What do you think about those two coilovers for classic? I know new exe tc is no more but maybe i can find used ones, my car is daily generally but i'll join time attacks too.I don't want harsh bouncy coilovers.

The kw are more track orientated than the exe tc, i run exe tc on my car and they are excellent on road and cope on track well with over 500hp.

The exe tc are more compliant than the kw so it really depends on what you are after using the car for and really how conpetitive you plan on been?

 

Joe cross has ran both on his RA this year so he will be along soon im sure

 

I'm not competitive(stock on motor) so much generally daily but i really like to see how exe tc perform

 

If it is mainly road use and your not chasing every 10th you will probably feel better with the exe tcs....

 

thanks, i want to try exe tc over the kw but i guess it's hard to find good used ones but they're very helpful about their products i love it



i read some threads about exe tc and is it same as intrax(Holland) coilovers?

 

Exe-TC are based in devon, the intrax stuff looks similar but not the same. You may find that Exe tc supply them some parts etc, but all of the Exe TC stuff is built in house.

Check my build thread as I was down at Exe-TC a few months back to get mine checked over and rebuilt.... they are really helpful.

Julia (the director) did mention while I was chatting to her if there was enough interest they may consider doing some impreza road stuff again.

 

I know they built in house and many parts are hand made i love their products

Exactly Julia(director) is very helpful, i asked fast road coilovers about year ago, they no longer able to supply fast road, they produce circuit or rally dampers and their prices are high for me

 

How much out of interest?

 

Pretty happy with my KW V3 on the road and they are not overly harsh on bumpy roads too, cant compare to exe tcs as I have never been in a car with them but KWs are on par with the bilstein b16s I had on my previous car

 

Intrax make the suspension en all in house.
They make good suspension for track and road but not cheap.

 

I mailed two times but they didn't answer. I asked 1k2 system
