Right, biting the bullet and purchasing some coil overs now my old struts have had it.

BUT, while this is being done what would be some essential 'to dos' while it's all apart? Obviously a full 4 wheel alignment will be in order.

Currently have ARBs, front strut brace but very little else.

Roll centre kit? Bushes?

All sage advice welcomed.

 

You don't neeed to do anything else, other than have a good alignment.
Depending on the usage and coilovers, you can try to set give it a bit more camber and caster for better handling.
You would benefit from changing the links from plastic/ruber to metal/poliurethane.

 

Cheers Pedro. It's a daily driver; so ideally I want a neutral feel on the road. In terms of links, would you recommend any specific products?

 

You can go for some Flo Flex (check ebay), they are pretty cheap and durable, and will do the job.

 

Write down all your changes as you go along and how it effects the car, I mean everything, damper settings, tyre pressures, geo.

That way you can reflect and see what works best for you

I'm just about to change up myself but looking for some which can Take a lot of **** and still grip to the road, after looking at rally suspension (which would be ideal but they are silly money) I could do with something no more than 2.5k .

Any ideas ?

 

Absolutely - it's a real minefield.
