Uprating with factory parts.
Hi,
I'm just started enjoying my first Subaru - a Bugeye WRX Wagon.
It's bog standard with just over 90k and seems to have been reasonably well looked after.
Having said that, considering the mileage, there are parts which could do with a refresh.
I'm looking to overhaul the suspension and was wondering what the differences are between models as far as ride height / rating? I've read about red, blue and black springs?
Also, are Sti etc dampers stiffer?
What about bushes?
I'm looking to get a slightly lower, but not necessarily stiffer, setup using factory parts.
As I say, I'm new to this marque, so any help would be appreciated.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Dave

Anywho, I've since learned that saloon and wagon setups are different, but still don't know much more than that for sure.
Like I said in my original post, am looking to create a kind of "Sti wagon" setup using new standard parts.
Can I just buy bugeye Sti stuff and bolt it on and will it make a noticeable difference?
Also, does anyone have any experience of the anti - sag plates for wagons?
Was having a wee look at the pedders stuff.
Any help appreciated.
Dave
