Default Subaru rear end clonking

Hi I had a 2005 wrx which had the usual rear end clonk but as I was changing car didn't swop anything
I now have a 2006 Sti and when I picked it up this had the same problem! So I swapped the rear and front for bc coil overs thinking it was the rear shock rattle accociated with subarus
The clonk/ rattle is only at low speed 20/30 mph round town at motorway speed it's fine it's better since I fitted the bc coil overs but still there
I just want to sort this problem as its anoying ! Any advice would be appreciated
Also I have £1000 to spend on upgrades what would you spend the money on? Car has KN filter and scorpion exhaust so remap and better brakes ??
Cheers

Don't think it's top mounts as these are new with the bc coil overs and the rear end has various drop links and bushes just thought someone would have sorted this problem and have an idea which link/ bush usually fails

Roll bar links make a click noise over bumps and can be heard at low speeds. Can sound like a strut click associated with sti struts.

My rear links were clicking but a quick tighten of the bolts solved it.
