I'm sure I heard that the problem with the knocking rears was the pillowball mounts??? That's why they changed back to the more normal rubber mounts.

They're fine with standard top mounts.

the issue was the top mounts on older models, the latest ones use rubber mounts but to be fair they are **** anyway and only fit for the bin.

I know this is going to sound like i'm being a cheeky **** but honestly i'm not, you'd do well to have it corner weighted and set up by them cos your fahookin huge and they made a real difference to my Type R when I had it done there, and i'm only 13 stone, I'll be taking my blob there when I've done all my handling mods in the new year too, well worth it.

I've recently bought a new age with BC BR's on with the dreaded knock and thought it would be an easy fix by tightening up the nut on the top mount but on closer inspection its the later model with the rubber top mounts and they've torn themselves to bits on both sides, from the receipt I've had in with the car history they just over 2 years old . So I wonder if this could be the same issue with yours??
