VF43 turbo from Hawkeye STI
#5
Price now stated ,bloody price police Mods to get to 380 bhp would be the usual:
1) Decat 3 inch exhaust
2) Big TMIC or
3) Decent FMIC (Hybrid generally regarded as best value)
4) Above will necessitate removal of airbox & an induction kit fitted
5) Remap
6) 550 injectors if not already fitted
7) Walbro 255 or HRC 340 fuel pump
Optional but advisable:
8) Set of Oil Temp, Oil Pressure & Boost Gauges or digital equivalent
9) Oil cooler
10) High pressure Header Tank Cap
11) Refill of cooling System with Evans waterless coolant
12) Parallel fuel rails or dont give car stick with less than one third of a tank of petrol
13) Adjustable Fuel Pressure regulator
14) Knocklink or similar device
15) Grade 7 NGK plugs
16) 3 port boost solenoid (one from an early classic will do,about £40)
17 Decat up-pipe if catted up-pipe fitted
18) Equal length headers or ported standard ones or early RA ones.
19) Switch to non-MAF dependent ECU software (especially on MY99/00)
20) Bigger Scoop & corresponding undertray if running a classic with Big TMIC
(personally I think they look awful & I would rather lose a few bhp, I will be running the bigger undertray tho )
21) Removal of air filter resonator if still running standard air box.
Cheers, John
