Mark, received the tyres today. Did you send me the wrong pair? From your thread, you stated:
The tyres have 3mm across the majority of the width and one is pretty much bald on one edge with the other not being much better.
I'm not going to make a big issue out of it, but I'm a little miffed that the tyres literally have half the tread you stated and have bald edges

Will send you some money back off them ok ???? Is that good enough?? Let me know. Nothing to hide here I'm a fair guy with good feedback

Did I call you a ******? No. I asked you not to treat me like one by ignoring my PM.
Whether the tyres were cheap or not is not the point. They're not as described and in fact have half the tread you stated and have bald edges. If I'd known, I wouldn't have parted with my money.
I don't think I'm being unreasonable by going public. I'd have kept this to PMs if you'd bothered to reply. Quite happy to go to PM if you'd prefer.

Nah keep it here. Like I said nothing to hide. I don't treat people like *******. You can do what you like to be honest. If you were that worried about buying near new tyres you should have bought new. Anyway not gonna drag this out. Will send you £20. So after postage and your £20 refund the tyres have cost you £10 each. Not too shabby eh ?

I wasn't worried about buying 'near new' tyres. I thought I was buying tyres with even wear and 5-6mm of tread. What turned up was 3mm with bald edges. So I think you have treated me like a ******.
With your refund I'd be £40 out of pocket for tyres that I wouldn't have bought if you'd told the truth. I do think that's pretty shabby actually.
I don't want your money. I want an admission that you sent me crap and an apology for not replying to my PM. That'll be the end of it.

You've consistently missed my point by a country mile, haven't you?
OK, I gave you the opportunity to apologise and you shoved it back in my face. Now I want the tyres that I paid for please. You know the ones; 5-6mm of tread and even wear. The ones that you described in this thread.

Wmscooby, for what it's worth I think you are completely in the wrong. Furthermore you have antagonised a situation that could very easily have been resolved by PM. I fully understand Major Sarcasm's annoyance and frustration. It is not about the money (cheap tyres or not) it's the principle and fair dealing (or lack thereof) that in my opinion has irked Major Sarcasm. In his situation most people would have reacted similarly. Just my tuppence worth.

Wmscooby, your right your feedback is excellent but you have allowed this situation to get out of hand,a member has bought some tyres off of you and was not happy about the condition of them compared to the discription you gave,he Tried to privately pm you but got no reply, put yourself in his position ask yourself how you would feel?try and sort this out privately with him and don't allow your reputation to be tarred with this folly.
