Complete Ver 5 STI engine

Evening all,

I am selling the engine in my type r and will be available in around 6 weeks. Only selling due to having a new fully forged engine

The engine will be sold COMPLETE so the turbo,manifold everything is included!

This engine was built by RDS Hastings as the original engine failed at 60k They are a very reputable company and have been told they used to run an impreza for rallying so I think they know there stuff.

The rebuild consisted of the following, all items were brand new.

Sti short engine

gasket set

new oil cooler

oil pump

Rocker gasket

chest gasket

oil filter

hoses

cam belt

turbo down pipe gasket

up pipe gasket

cam belt idle pulley

tappet shims

inlet valves

I have a receipt for £3569 in parts alone for the build.

The engine has covered 23300, (will go up slightly) miles since this rebuild and has been serviced regularly using the correct oils/plugs/filters and most recently by legacyDan at SurreySubaruSpecialists.(27/4/12)

Dan is quite happy to vouch for this engine if you would like an independent opinion!

I am more than happy to let anyone interested drive the car (with valid insurance) or come and hear the engine running. I'm available most days after 16:00. Car is based junction 6 m25

The engine will be removed by legacyDan and would recommend that if you wanted it fitted to your car to use him!




Again the engine will be sold COMPLETE this will include

vf28 turbo

turbo smart dump-valve

intercooler

manifold

ecu

injectors etc.


Engine was rebuilt on the 12/12/2006 so has done roughly 4000 miles a year!
