Supplied and mapped by Enginemapper (graham) who i'm sure would be more than willing help out with any questions and sort out whatever you needed.

as far as other mappers and simtek not sure how that works, best speak to your mapper but tbh at £500 for the Ecu you'll not go too far wrong.

Think i paid between £150 and £200, its a standard fixed price from simtek as mine didn't have it on originally, Mapper just needs the serial of the ecu and they can get the software from simtek

Try and give you the short answer!

I am the master of learning lessons the hard way unfortunately, really should have bought Simtek much earlier than I did and kept pushing the standard Ecu, big maf, meth, toulene etc which resulted actually paying more out in repairs. With 20/20 hindsight simtek would have been first purchase when i started to track the car.

Now that car is a full on track car I want a race standard Ecu and so going for syvecs. Multiplie maps so you can wind it up throughout the event, limp mode enabled when it detects a problem, basically things to help you get though a race day. Expensive ecu but horses for courses.

Well that's the end of this sale thread, thanks Bodski! Lol

Lol no problem mate

TBH If I wasn't thinking of getting rid of my car then I'd have it off ya in a flash. Great ECU for a road based car where a Syvecs can be a bit overkill.

Bump

Any mapper that is a Simtek dealer can map this after the patch is provided to them by Simtek. I normally charge £300 incl vat and dyno time to map these to suit.

Als and l/c is £180 incl vat to be added to any Simtek ECU and can be done at the same time as fitting.

Hope this helps,

Graham

Has Simtek sorted out their knock control yet and if so, is this one equipped to do it?

Shift light warning only as far as I'm aware.
