Default Advice needed on prices if I bits

Guys, I'm just gauging some interest and would like some advice as I'm thinking of bitsing my car. The car is a 2001 51 plate Classic UK Turbo wagon.

The mileage is 91,700 with fsh. The reason for sale is it sometimes knocks only slightly from the big ends on cold start up but not every time. After an oil change with millers 10/40 full syn this did stop but has since started again.
My plan was to keep her going and replace the block for an Sti 8 one & a 6 speed box but the house is in need of new windows & doors so I've decided to sell my toy. I paid £3000 for her in November and the noise started 3 days later due to lack of oil. Since then I have spent around 2k on her starting to get her where I want her to be, but funds are needed now before the winter sets in.
My car is currently up for sale at £3000 but obviously the knocking is going to put people off so I may bits it.

If people could see if I'm correct with my pricing (either up down or spot on) that would be great.

Gold Brembo front brakes with Braketech groved discs & Kevlar pads 1300 miles on discs & pads: £500
Gold rear Brembo's no discs: £200
Braided brake lines all round: £35
18ins Inovit Tarmac's in white with Falken FK 452 215/40/18 tyres Very good tread: £500
Whiteline 22mm anti-roll bar front: £80
Whiteline 22mm adjustable anti-roll bar Rear: £80
Whiteline front alloy droplinks: £45
Whiteline Rear alloy droplinks: £45
Whiteline anti-lift kit : £80
Front Upper Strut Brace: £40
BC Racing Coilovers: BR Series Type RH around 1500 miles old: £500
Ultralite Black Internal Drive Hardened Alloy Lug Nuts + lockers: £60
Zerosports intercooler splitter: £50
Ramair oiless panel filter: £10
Samco intercooler hoses: £20
VF30 turbo (JDM STI): £300
Ported headers: ?
RCM 3ins sports cat downpipe: ?
Magnex 2.5ins centre section (resonated) and backbox (nice noise, not too loud) £60
PIAA 80XT fog lights + brackets & covers. Need new inserts: £50
Fuelab adjustable FPR: £75
Walbro 255lph fuel pump: £40
Uprated all aluminium radiator: £100
Excedy stage 1 clutch and lightened flywheel (5.75Kg): ?
EcuTek ECU remapped by JollyGreenMonster to 300bhp (1.35 Bar): £150
Cristal head lights: £80
Sti rear clusters (Wagon): £120
Spotless interior: £200
Engine: £100
Rolling shell no repairs in very good condition: £750

As I said I'm only thinking of this at the moment but any advice would be greatly received.

Thank you.

I don't have the spare cash to do the work. Overtime at work has gone so just enough to live on at the moment.

This was always my toy so family & the house come first.

Not sure. On cold start up but not all the time for maybe a second or two & I think I can hear it at around 3500 rpm but not sure.

How do you stop piston slap and what is piston slap?

Prices are realistic but will take time to shift.

Wagon rear STi lights are of interest if mint

For all the other pm's I'm getting for prices on delivered parts, I'm not bitsing it yet so all the stuff is still on the car. I'm not going to commit myself to delivery prices until I've weighed things. Sorry if Ive mislead people but I'm not sure if it's going to be bits up, this thread was for advice on my pricing if I do.

Admin: If this thread is in the wrong section then please can you move it the the correct one.

Thanks mate and yes I agree she is a lovely looking car. To be honest I don't really want to break it because I don't want a half stripped down car sitting on the drive and I'm sure the neighbours wont either. lol.

I'm just trying to prepare myself if she doesn't sell.

By the way, your user name did make me chuckle.

Lol. Cheers.

Know what you mean. Is difficult desision as it will takes ages to sell enough parts to make it financially viable to break up into bits. But at same time will cost you extra for new engine and fitting if you go down that route. Not easy desision. Such a shame, great car!

Good luck.

if it only knocks for a few seconds when you first start the car then i doubt it's piston slap tbh or even big ends for that matter. The chances are it's something a good flush and oil change will sort.

I did give her an oil change before I went on the Colin Mcrae weekender and it stopped for around 1000 miles but started again.
I just don't understand it, she drive lovely it's just that brief second at the start up. It's driving me mad as I like things to be right.

Thanks for the advice every one so far.
