I ceased selling these and trading as polar performance back in 2009 due to family and change of role within my full time employment.

Had a bit of a sort out at the weekend and found 4-Off chips that I could flash up accordingly.

For those that don't know there for 1993 - 1996 modules, fit inside the ECU in a spare location and boost is raised to 1.1 bar, with fuel cut raised and timings/fuelling modified accordingly.

1993 - 1996 STi 1 & 2
1993 - 1996 WRX Saloon
1993 - 1996 WRX Wagon

Thse are the absolute last and will come with full instructions and the required Chip socket / Holder

Hi mate,thanks for the bump.
No wouldn't be able to map for 440's etc...for that you need the ESL live Version 2 daughterboard or an aftermarket ECU.

 

hi m8, ive got a uk wagon my96 phase 1 with a 7d ecu. i take it this ecu will have the spare bay for a chip? ive got a few mods, sportcat 100 cell,k&n panel filter, and a walbro and fuel pressure reg. i take it u can flash the chip for these mods m8? or would an esl board and map be a better option? thanks.

 

Hi,

ESL would be a better option to get the most out of it, but TBH the std MAP sensor and injectors won't let you have much more then the chip can provide.

My car is a 96 wrx saloon with decat and panel filter, what sort of performance could I expect if I added this chip?

I have a 1995 wrx wagon with full decat and panel filter, would this fit straight in and support a walbro fuel pump . And mine a auto, if that would make a difference. If all that is ok then I ll have one.
