Unused Big brake kit for sale.
Due to a change in circumstances I am forced to sell my front big brake kit that I bought just over 2 months ago!.
The kit is made buy Compbrake and features 2x 350mm two piece dics, 2x 4 pot calipers (porsche calipers re-branded), two sets of pads(track and road) braided brake lines and all fixings.
The kit fits Impreza's made between 1993-2000 with some needing slight mods to fit ie wheel sizing ect.
The kit is brand new unused and set me back £1150 inc vat but I am only asking £699 because I need a quick sale.

Jon, that is an absolute steal mate.
If they'll fit yours would recommend you snap this up - my tuner was telling me yesterday I should have bought a set of these if was able to afford it!

I'm not sure about the carbon finish as I'm after some red brakes to go with my current (or in progress) colour scheme. I also need to look at the finances as I am heavily commited to funding thje respray that is already in progress and I will also need a clutch soon too, but I agree the price is great

There's a lot of mixed reviews and it seems to depend on how you use them. From what I've read there was some teething issues that have been overcome and they do like to be abused but only after being properly bedded in
To all intensive purposes, 95% of posters who've had trouble look to have literally whacked the pads straight on then done a track day without bedding in first. Bit suicidal one might argue, regardless of whether the pads are heat scorched!
There were indeed teething issues with the old blue stuff compound but the NDX was designed to fix those.
As far as I know it has done based on what I've seen....

I think that's a little unfair if you're basing that on the EBC thread.

.I hate having to wait to bed in these new pads and discs - just want to see how good they are!
Apologies to the OP for hijacking this thread - free bump for a great deal on a great set of brakes

Thanks Matt, I'm struggling to free up some cash with a respray to pay for
. Shame they aren't the red ones either as I will need to repaint them. I'm trying to clear out some junk and if the money comes up before you sell them I'll have them - otherwise good luck with the sale

Well I can say the blue stuff ndx are much better on the road than ds2500's. The bite is very impressive and done a few high speed stops with no fade whatsoever. Not used them in anger on the track yet so cant comment on that. I agree with previous comments that bedding brakes in is shyte. When i have spent my hard earnt I want to play straight away lol.
