Impreza Turbo 2000 - V plate 1999
Colour DBM - Gold wheels
79,000 miles – Full service history, oil & filter changes every 3-4,000 miles.
Cat 1 alarm, immobiliser & RAC Trackstar.
I have modified this car to be fast road car – never been on track. Power comes in very early and holds boost well top end considering turbo is on small TD04. Most suspension components are just over 12 years old (BC’s, ALK, bushes)
Bodywork in good condition considering that it is 11 years old – the odd parking dent – easily removed.
Owned this car for over 5 years - bought Oct 2005
Running 283 bhp and 301 lb/ft torque - have graphs from a couple of different places.
Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:
Prodrive / Sti ECU
Ported Headers and H&S Custom made up pipe (Ian Harvey spec)
HKS Silent Power Stainless system & down pipe
Helix 4.5 KG Flywheel
Helix uprated clutch
Heat blanket on turbo
Headers up pipe and down pipe all wrapped and painted.
Low mileage TD04 turbo bought 8 months ago (original started to smoke slightly)
Ecutek remap
New battery (10 months)
New alternator (10 months)
New radiator 4 years ago
Diff oils changed 12 months ago
Power steering fluid changed 10 months ago
Car never loses any water or needs topping up. Also hardly ever needs any top up of oil – I have only had to top up literally a cup full once – is a really good strong original engine –I have not pushed the power too much as it has been running 280bhp since I bought it and is well within it’s limits.

This is without doubt the best car I have ever had – but need to move on as I have had over 5 years of fun and need a new one to mess with. I do not want to keep it any longer as I will start wanting to up the power and ruin what is a lovely car.
Regarding price, I know this is very subjective. I have ever receipt in a folder which I can show any potential buyer.
I am looking for near £4,000ono for this car which you may thing is too high, but consider this:-
You buy a standard – ish car then you do the following:- Remap, exhaust, suspension, clutch etc. You will be spending over £2,000 before you know it.
So come and have a look at my car, see what you think and realise you may even feel that this car is worth the money. Or buy a dog for £2000 and spend twice that getting it to the standard and condition that mine is now - up to you.
Just tell me when you want to come and see it so I can wash it for you. LOL - Ade
