Default Brand new 5 Speed PPG gear box in TY752 case

I have for sale a brand new, never turned a cog, 5 speed PPG 1-4 straight cut syncro gear set. The gear set was bought from Mark @ Lateral performance about 18 months ago. The gear set was built into a TY752 case with a standard UK 5th and PPG billet selector forks. All seals were replaced and any syncros and bearings that were not 100% were binned and new ones were fitted. The box runs a 3.9:1 front diff with 1:1 drop gears. With this box also comes a 3.9:1 rear diff and prop from a 98UK.

The Car was a project car and, after 600miles on a brand new forged engine, was taken off the road to complete a GT35R conversion, big fuel upgrade and PPG box, but, was never finished. The box was fitted to the car to mock up the GT35R pipe work but was NEVER EVER RUN. The box has been sat with oil in for the past 18 months, however, just to make sure it was 100% perfect I had my gear box builder pull it apart and check it last week. He pulled it down, cleaned it, resealed it, rebuilt it and confirmed it to be absolutely brand new!

Cumulatively, by the time you bought; the gear set (£2750), the billet selector forks ( £250 ), a good condition donor box (£400), the new seals, bearings and syncros ( £??? ), the box build from a reputable gear box builder (£500), the prop and 3.9 rear diff ( £??? ), this box could cost you almost 5K to put together. This box is already built and ready to fit. Im looking for £3000. I have seen these boxes go for £2000 - £2500 second hand, with 30K+ miles on them, but this box is brand new! If anyone wants anymore information please dont hesitate ask!

Sensible offers may be considered but I am in no rush to get this box gone. The box is worth £3000 all day long and if you have ever looked into building your own PPG gear box then this one makes sense for you. Its a lot cheaper than building your own and its already done so you can swap boxes in a day with no need to take your car off the road while you have your own box built. If any one has any questions please don't to hesitate ask.

Tech answer: did not get round to getting an LSD.

The plan was to get trick front, rear and center diffs but after the car was back on the road and had some more miles on it. I would love to tell you the standard front diff was in there to help corner entry turn in and combat under steer while also reducing the chance of breaking drive train parts but that was not the case

I love my box and think it's the only way to run with a big turbo. The 6 speed is just to involving and when you have a late spooling big turbo you need a longer box to make the most of the limited power band. Good luck with the sale Al

I saw a 2nd hand one of these with all the trimmings (billet forks etc) go for around £2200... think it was k8lla's old box, but in this condition its worth pushing the boat out.

I'm not even joking about the mortgage! Its been accepted, but long story short my buyer pulled out so now desperately tryin to find a new buyer and then it'll all happen.

If my mrs knew I was ready to spunk £3k of that on this box she'd have my *********, lol!

You have got me thinking now, the original box was a TY752VN6AA but this PPG set was built into a donor. Im sure the donor was another 98 UK so should be TY752 but if your telling me you can only build them into a TY754 then i don't know. What is the best way to tell what case it is?
