Default Prodrive 3 port boost solenoid

Hi all,

As per title, 3 port boost solenoid... Unsure if new or used but looks in as new condition. Purchased before my mapping session but turns out I already had one installed so was not required. I am told these are much better than the MAC ones etc? I'm sure someone will advise. Comes with everything in the photo i.e crimps etc.

£35 delivered seems a fair price

£80 new from SWRD with harness.
People are too concerned about branding, and greedy people have stuffed all of us by concluding that the newage cars are somehow classic status and whacking huge prices on used parts - which amusingly in many cases you can still buy. Bit annoying really...

I paid £52.10 delivered to my door for a brand new SWRD 3 port from Darrell @ Scoobyworx which is the same original Pierberg unit Prodrive used to supply. This came complete with a fully built harness so it was plug and play in the car, no wiring required.

Simples.

as BPR states, its a Pierberg boost solenoid used by both SWRD and formerly by Prodrive. The only fancy bit was the harness adapter. solenoid itself is cheap as chips

so the seller aint selling a Prodrive one as the harness adapter, with its little prodrive sleeve, is not there

The solenoid itself is still available over the counter in vauxhaul/opel #55557806. Mine stopped working and had to source another solenoid, after loads of looking around I was pointed in the direction of them :
