3D Printed Newage Single Din Android Tab Mounting + USB Port + Small Item storage
Hi All,
Latest addition to my 3D printed mods, and one of my favorites! An android tablet mounting system for the single din slot under the radio, for Newage models.
Features
- mounting for Android Nexus 7 gen 2 tablet. These are a few years old now, but really cheap on ebay and more than capable for everything you'd need - playing music, login data, google maps etc etc
- charges when the engine is on and you can download aps to turn it on and off automatically and connect to bluetooth etc when you key on
- lift and tilt down lock mechanism to prevent the tablet moving under accel
- USB port for charging other devices
- small item storage with non slip matt base. Almost secret as you can not see it until you tilt down the tablet
- can fit a tight right angle aux connector for wired connection to your head unit
- powered from a link lead that connects between the cigarette lighter and its harness connector
- mounts to the metal radio chassis by 4 off M4 bolts (included)
Fitment
- Newage models, but may fit classics TBC
- about 30 mins to install
