hi , this is a block that came off a litchfield type 25. the block has been soda blasted and honed . still standard 99.50 bore. ready for building your next project. this block had rcm 12/14mm head bolts. so the block is drilled for 14mm but you don't have to drill your heads as they fit like 12mm.


i am asking for £500 delivered for the block and £80 for the rcm bolts (paypal fees extra). i would like to sell them together and will only split them if ihave buyers for both.

i also have the cosworth heads of these. (also soda blasted and rebuilt)they are the big valve heads. this engine did 0-60 in 3.8secs with a twin scroll gt30. i will negotiate for the heads seperatly.

i am in Norwich area. you can come and inspect or pick them up also.

 

Are they 2.5 heads?

 

They are cosworth heads that worked on cable throttle jdm loom. Basicly they are specially designed to work on 2.5 block with 2 liter loom. If you have a 2.5 dbw car they will not work. They will work on any 2001-2005 avcs models. Hope this helps

2.5 heads wont work with a 2 litre based engine

 

They are 2 lt. heads made specifically to acommodate 2.5 blocks. they will also fit 2 liter blocks however. but you will need the engine loom of a 2lt. that is the reason it will not fit the 2006 onwards 2.5 cars. it needs the car loom and the engine loom from the 2lt. unless you fit a syvecs or link etc. with their looms. the 2.5 heads have extra sensors where the 2lt doesn't. and the 2.5 is drive by wire throttle body where the 2lt is cable. the heads i have are cable throttle version.they are ported and polished with bigger valves.
